This series of work acts as a way to reclaim my voice as an  artist, to include the hand by working from initial drawings and sketches,  and carrying this hand-made approach into the digital process of modelling,  lighting and texturing. They are sensual and intuitive explorations of the  inner world of emotions, feelings and desires. What might this particular  feeling or emotion look like? Invisible, abstract and ephemeral experiences  are rendered as surreal, yet crystal clear fantastical visual phenomenon -  almost decorative in style, but captured like the appearance of something  found in nature - an intimate spectacle like a sunset, a waterfall, a  beautiful creature or natural sculptural form - a jellyfish, a flower.

These works begin to marry this inner world, with my magpie-like obsession  with visual stimuli, through a more sensitive, sensual and femine approach -  and explores the beauty and strength in this. I am sharing a part of myself,  a visual manifestation that can now be seen by others.
