Sky Goodman

Sky Goodman is a multi-media artist, poet, and educator living in Chicago, IL. Sky’s formal training is in poetry and has background of teaching Glitch Art, Film Studies, and Creative Writing to high school and college students. Currently they work full time as an artist, with a deep interest in merging obsolete and emergent tech into their scapes and worlds. Fashion, sneaker culture, video games, and landscape painting are a few passions that inform Sky’s work.

Sky Goodman regularly collaborates with other artists, musicians and dancers and are a part of the audio visual duos interference//, ethereal_interface, and Twin Render. They are one half of the New Media collective S H R I N E which puts on live events, exhibitions, and performances in Chicago. Sky has been putting on multi media events in Chicago and internationally for the past decade. They are the author of three published poetry books, “Starfish” “Deep Dream” and “Universal Texture.” Their work has been exhibited at Sotheby’s, internationally and online.
